Those of us wired for empathy and connection came carrying specific codes—our sensitivity is not a flaw, but a feature of evolution. I know this truth in my cells: the rising wave of attuned beings in recent decades signals a collective shift. It is not coincidence; it is evolution in motion.

Together, we’re here to midwife a new level of self-realization. We are the ones who chose at a soul level to anchor the architecture of the new human blueprint as we ascend into higher consciousness, embodying light as form itself.

But ascension isn’t an easy process. It can feel like dying while you’re alive.

The old self resists dissolution. Parts of you that once felt solid — your identity, your desires, your attachments — begin to lose form. What once guided you no longer fits, and what is coming into being is still taking shape. I can't tell you how many times I have experienced this acutely. Remember way back in the late 1990's and early 2000's when people started talking about ascension symptoms? Yeah, it's still a thing.

We are asked to surrender again and again, to release control and trust a process that often feels like undoing. And as soon as we summon the courage to trust, our next undoing asks us to trust even more, at a deeper level. And deeper and deeper we go in our trust walk, hoping the ground will rise to meet our feet.

But this is not punishment. It is purification. The path of ascension dismantles what is false so that only truth remains. Each cycle unthreads the conditioning, fears, and distortions that kept your light contained. Every contraction, every collapse, is part of the expansion. The death is not of you — it is of everything you are not.

To walk this path is to remember that ascension isn’t a ladder you climb; it’s a spiral you surrender to. I have learned (and am still learning) that you rise not by force of will, but by the grace of allowing. Each descent brings you deeper into embodiment; each rise brings you closer to the Divine that has been within you all along.

Yet many seekers try to will their way through ascension—as if awakening were a mountain to climb or a state to sustain through sheer effort. I am the queen of strong will and though I've been conscious for decades of the tendency inside me to "make it happen," I’m still unwinding that mindset.

In Western culture, we are taught to strive, to measure progress by visible achievement, and to equate movement with momentum. I, like so many people, learned to push through discomfort, to conquer the self rather than commune with it. Even on the spiritual path, that old programming can slip in—turning awakening into another performance, another ideal we’re meant to master.

But ascension doesn’t respond to force. It’s not a straight, upward line of continual bliss. It is a living rhythm—an ebb and flow, a spiraling current of expansion and integration. You rise, you recalibrate. You open, you ground. Each phase serves the whole. I can't tell you how much pressure it let off when I truly came to understand this in my cells.

When you “crash” after a peak experience, nothing is wrong with you. It took me awhile to really learn - not just conceptually, but to know it in my body - that the descent is not a failure; it’s an integral part of the cycle. What feels like contraction is a natural consequence, a repetition that strengthens and prepares the body and soul to hold more light.

Every return to the ground sets a new foundation — the next time you expand, you rise from a higher baseline. Over time, the dips become softer, the recoveries quicker, the lows more luminous.

Ascension isn’t about holding the high — it’s about raising the bottom. It’s learning to meet every part of the cycle with trust, humility, and presence. The true mastery is not in sustaining perfection, but in staying open through the rhythm of becoming.

What is Rise Within?

Rise Within is an initiatory, experiential journey. A personal invitation into your own ascension mysteries based on the rhythm of your inner evolution and the activation your spirit is calling forth at this moment.

The inspiration for it came when I was creating my oracle deck Empath Activation Cards. My publisher asked me to offer a few card layouts to include in the accompanying guidebook. Spirit downloaded me with the following 10-card spread:

Notice how the progression of the cards in the diagram snakes back and forth as it moves up the pyramid. It is meant to represent the upward undulating movement of kundalini energy through the spine, a symbolic activation of a higher order of light frequency being turned on in your body.

This 10-card sequence is designed to build your energy body in a personalized “prescription” based on the cards you draw for each position. Each level of progression has a specific focus!

This series is definitely of an otherworldly origin. As I felt the descriptions coming through me, I did not know the full scope of the significance, but I felt the power and potency of the sequence. I was practically shaking as I wrote them down!

These 10 levels are activational gateways designed to invite us into higher octaves of expression, consciousness, and light. I knew immediately this would become the foundation of a mystery school. And Rise Within was born.

I have been waiting to launch this program for five years! It is finally time.

Why the soul craves initiation

Across time and culture, initiation has been the sacred language of transformation, serving as one of the most profound rites of passage in the human experience. These ceremonies were not merely symbolic—initiation marked the transition from one stage of life or consciousness to another, acknowledging the initiate’s individual journey as well as their relationship to the greater whole. To be initiated was to die to the old self, to release what no longer served, and to be reoriented toward the next octave of expression and purpose within the web of life.

The initiatory processes I have been through (such as The Priestess Process and my 2-year shamanic apprenticeship) have been some of the most powerful and transformative experiences of my life. Though many current cultures have forgotten the temples and rituals, the ancient longing remains. The psyche still seeks what initiation offers: structure for transformation, meaning for the unknown, and the sacred witness of community.

In our modern world, we are constantly bombarded with information. Every topic, every question, every teaching seems to have countless sources, voices, and perspectives. Sorting through it all to determine what is accurate, relevant, or useful can be exhausting. It can leave us feeling more confused than inspired.

Plus, there’s so much focus on the intellect — on analysis, logic, and the linear pursuit of understanding. The brain is touted as the throne of wisdom, and the mind as the only trustworthy guide. We dissect, categorize, and consume knowledge, mistaking mental mastery for evolution, forgetting that true growth asks something less cerebral and far more intimate.

Rise Within is different. This is an experiential journey, not a classroom of theory or academic concepts. Instead of collecting information, you engage with practices, activations, and personalized initiatory experiences that move through your body, your energy field, and your consciousness. This approach allows the teachings to become your lived experience, not just intellectual knowledge. Each week’s progression is designed to activate what is already within you, fostering deeper integration, self-trust, and alignment with your highest potential.

Unlike traditional programs that rely on lectures or passive learning, Rise Within meets you where you are, honoring the unique rhythm of your own unfolding. Your sovereignty is recognized, and your inner authority is held with reverence—you are trusted to navigate your own truth, guided by the wisdom that already lives within you. I am not here to prescribe your path or tell you what to do; rather, you are invited to step fully into the frequencies, embody the energies, and integrate the insights that awaken your Light—always supported by the unwavering guidance of your own inner knowing.

True initiation breaks us open so the light can find new pathways through us. It reorients the compass of the soul—an alchemical process that refines not only consciousness but character. Rise Within is born of this lineage—a contemporary temple space where the ancient rhythm of initiation is reborn in embodied form, guiding you to meet the next unfolding of yourself.

In addition, taking this journey as a circle amplifies and magnifies the experience through the Hermetic principle: “As the self, so the circle; as the circle, so the self.”

Each individual contributes their energy, insight, and presence, and in return, the collective field supports, reflects, and activates the unfolding of every member. The whole becomes far greater than the sum of its parts. I have experienced this firsthand, over and over, and the magic of it still surprises and delights me.

Moving through this initiation as an intimate group offers the opportunity to witness your own growth mirrored in others, to deepen your understanding through shared experience, and to be held in a field of resonance and accountability. The circle becomes a living container for transformation, where individual breakthroughs ripple outward, enhancing and accelerating the collective activation of light, consciousness, and embodiment.

Rise Within Content & Progression

Rise Within will follow the mini-launch sequence layout from my oracle deck (Empath Activation Cards) and will be conducted over a period of 14 weeks (including 3 breaks to honor holidays and to have time to integrate).

I purposefully chose the start date to fall on Samhain, the cross quarter between the Fall Equinox and Winter Solstice. We complete on Imbolc, the cross-quarter between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. We enter this journey during the 3 darkest (most inward) months of the year.

You’ll notice that within each initiatory level there is a theme, an essence statement, and Root and Crown practices. Together, these elements create the living framework of our journey. The theme reveals the central teaching and frequency of that stage; the essence statement anchors it in consciousness as a living affirmation.

Tree medicine reminds us that growth upward must be paired with growth downward. To reach higher levels of consciousness, insight, and expression, we must also cultivate our roots: our foundation, anchor, and our capacity to hold energy. Without this grounding, even the most luminous expansion becomes precarious; a tree that is too top-heavy will topple. In the same way, ascension without grounding can feel unstable, scattered, or overwhelming.

Through the weekly “Root and Crown” practices, you will learn to strengthen your foundation while expanding your reach—to integrate embodiment with higher consciousness. Each week’s teaching encourages you to nourish the unseen aspects of yourself—your emotional, energetic, and spiritual roots—so that every new layer of expansion is fully supported.

We will all move through these levels together, but at the same time each of you will have your own personalized experience, focus, and journey based on the Empath Activation Card you draw for each of the 10 levels.

Tree Medicine

The Root and Crown practice are a fundamental component of each level, ensuring the teaching is not only understood but embodied. Over many years, I have worked closely with tree medicine, and one of its most profound lessons is this: if you were magically able to uproot a tree, you would notice that its root system below mirrors the structure of its branches above—in breadth, depth, and complexity. This is not just a biological curiosity; it is a powerful spiritual teaching.

Commencement: The Birth of Intention

This marks the conscious beginning of the ascent - choosing to live as a participant in one's own evolution. At this level we awaken sacred readiness and claim our spiritual authority.

Discernment: The Awakening of Truth Perception

At this level we begin to separate inner knowing from outer noise, cultivate inner guidance and learn to trust the body as compass.

Theme: Seeing Through Illusion

Essence statement: "I see with clear eyes and feel with a lucid heart; what aligns with my essence becomes unmistakable."

At this level we harmonize the many parts of self - personality, soul, and Source - into one current. We align will, thought, emotion, and action with higher truth.

Essence statement: "I stand at the still point within, where Heaven and Earth harmonize into one living current."

Refinement: The Purification of Frequency

This phase clears distortion, ego residue, and energetic clutter so the Light can circulate more freely. At this level we learn to embody purity without perfectionism - letting go to become transparent to Spirit.

Theme: Shedding Density

Essence statement: "All that is not love falls away; I polish the mirror of my being."

Embodiment: The Union of Spirit and Matter

At this level the abstract becomes tangible as light fully inhabits form. We experience spiritual truth through sensation, emotion, and movement.

Completion: The Circle Returns

This final gathering is a moment of reflection and celebration — not as an ending, but as the full spiral of becoming. Here we honor all that has awakened, released, and integrated. The journey that began as initiation now completes as embodiment. You stand both changed and eternal, aware of your radiance and rooted in your humanness. The circle closes, only to open again at a higher octave of being.

Theme: The Sacred Return

Essence Statement: “I honor the journey I have walked; what I have become now walks with me.”

Root Practice: Grounding the Light — a guided embodiment to anchor new frequencies into daily life.

Crown Practice: Offering of Gratitude — a collective blessing to release, celebrate, and expand into the next spiral of becoming.

Structure of the Rise Within Program

Rise Within call schedule

We will meet weekly on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time (US/Chicago).

Each call will be 90 minutes in length with the exception being the first class, which will be 2 hours.

Sessions will be conducted over Zoom and all of the course materials will be housed in Ruzuku where you can access them at any time (you'll be given access and instructions for Ruzuku after you register.)

ALL CALLS WILL BE RECORDED! So don't worry if you have to miss a few, or if you live in a country where this happens to fall in the middle of the night. You can catch all of the replays as they will be available in your course materials.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For this program you will need to have a copy of my oracle deck Empath Activation Cards: Discover Your Cosmic Purpose. I would love to have included it in your tuition, but managing overseas shipments has sadly become pricey and complicated which makes it prohibitive.
